Listing is for a rare and unique Westinghouse clock radio. Interestingly, this 1965 set was one of the last tube based clock radios to be mass produced. By the mid-1960s, most of the clock radios being produced were solid state (transistor based), and manufactured in Japan rather than the U.S. That makes this an interesting set. When tested the clock did not appear to be working. The radio does power up, and stations can be heard across the dial. However, there is a loud background hum present. The set almost certainly needs its capacitors replaced. I'm not sure what other work may be needed, and so am selling this one strictly for parts (or as a project).
