Vintage Dunhill Light Up Lamp / Clock Perspex Advertising Sign Shop Display

This is a terrific old advertising item for Dunhill cigarettes in the shape of a hanging or standing lamp with a digital clock below. Made from perspex it is a nice light weight item despite its impressive size. Both the lamp and clock are in good working order and the overall condition is very good indeed with just the odd mark on some of the edges. It does have red tape wrapped around it near the base but I can see no function for this so it may be added decor by a previous owner but I do not wish to remove it in case doing so would mark the casing of the item. I am not sure if it came with a top or lid when new but if that is the case then it no longer has one and the base is slightly loose.
